Know what you're clicking before you click it

Search is the first thing most dealers touch every day. You type part of a name, a UPC or a SKU, and a list drops down. Until now that list gave you a name, a manufacturer and not much else. You picked one and hoped it was the right gun and that somebody had it.

The dropdown now tells you a lot more before you click.

Each suggestion shows a thumbnail. When five guns from the same maker have nearly the same name, the picture is usually the quickest way to tell which is which.

See if anyone has it

Each suggestion carries a stock label:

• In stock, when a distributor has 10 or more
• Low stock, for 1 to 9
• Out of stock, when nobody has it

If a distributor's quantities need your own dealer account and you haven't connected it, that row shows no label rather than a number we can't show you.

Know when it's the exact item

Type a UPC, SKU or manufacturer part number and the matching product gets a blue Exact match badge. No more wondering whether the top result is the thing you typed or just something with a similar name.

Keep your hands on the keyboard

Use the up and down arrows to move through suggestions, Enter to open the highlighted one, and Escape to close the list. If nothing is highlighted, Enter searches for what you typed, like it always has.
