Sports South hub

Sports South API and integration

Sports South publishes a dealer web service that returns catalog, pricing, and quantity data as XML, and Project Parabellum polls it, unwraps the legacy envelope, and works through the response in chunks, because a catalog this deep is not something to hold whole in one pass. Sports South supports order placement through the same web service for dealers who connect their own credentials. Read the sync time on this page as the end of the most recently completed pass rather than as a live cursor into one still running — on the deepest feed on the hub, those are meaningfully different moments.

What Project Parabellum normalizes from Sports South

Project Parabellum normalizes every item in the Sports South feed — manufacturer, model, caliber, and category — into a shared vocabulary, so the same UPC carried by Sports South can be compared against the same UPC carried by any other distributor we sync, rather than compared only within Sports South's own naming. Dealers who connect their own Sports South credentials see account-specific availability on top of that; everyone else sees catalog breadth and stock presence.
